High School Test.

Wed Oct 31, 2007, 5:26 PM
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerfull beyond measure. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgreous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? We where born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same"

On a test I had to take in my Seminar class, I had to define what this quote ment to me. I did, & as I look back on my awnser I gave onto the test, I didnt think it made much sense, until I re-read it. Here is what I said.

"In my eyes this means to me tht everyone is made in God's image so you do not have the right to judege others withought a thoguht of gratitide, but more importantly that if we try our hardest we can go far in life! Than as we accomplish our goals/dreams we give the power and courage for others to follow through in the same way. An ex. would be a poet, as he writes his poems he makes a meaning out of them, and when others read his poem, others find diffrent meanings and it may give them hope. The poet gives off a sense of understanding to many people, understandings he doesnt even know. So if we want somthing in life, we can have the willpower if it means somthing in our hearts"
